My 6 year old granddaughter understood it immediately, and she suggested that "marshmallows probably aren't green light food, right?" (Just for the record, this grandmother never gives candy to my grandkids. I feed them wholesome, traditional meals, and they don't even ask for dessert.) I like the “traffic light eating” idea!
