You Voted and the Winner is Am Workouts are Best!

I agree with those of you who voted and decided that working out in the AM is the best time. There is something about working out in the morning that just makes you feel amazing the rest of the day. Another added benefit of a morning work out is enjoying the positive mood you have created. You will be proud of yourself for getting up an exercising. Exercise makes you feel better both mentally and physically, and that feeling can last all day after a morning exercise routine.
I also believe that exercising in the morning will help you sleep better at night. By getting up earlier, you are more likely to go to bed earlier, which can help you find your natural sleeping cycle. I have worked out in the evening many times and If i go to late (after 9PM) the adrenaline rush and muscular activity make it challenging to achieve a restful enough state to sleep.
I also think that working out in the morning can create better eating habits. So many people completely skip breakfast but by exercising in the am your body will develop a natural hunger as it will need to replenish its fuel sources that were depleted during exercise. Along with this can come a greater desire to keep your body hydrated. This will naturally increase the amount of water you consume during the day which has several significant benefits. We showed you an article awhile back that went into some great detail on how much water can impact your body.
Obviously exercise at any time is better than no exercise at all. If you can however, try to do it in the morning. I also believe that people who get into a pattern of exercising in the morning are more likely to stick with it. When I worked in the gym world we would do a lot of stats on when our members were coming in and how frequent they were. The comparisons were not even close. The group who worked out in the AM had by far the most consistency.
