Power Training, an Update on Trinity Sports Summer Camp

I wanted to get back to the topic I brought up over a week ago of power training. Before I go to far into the philosophy behind how we train for power I thought it would be fun to show you a demonstration. The Train2move team and I were joking about strapping a camera to an athletes head and then have them go out on one of our long endurance circuits.  So we decided to try this one as a test. We had one person run alongside a few guys going through a small section of one of the endurance circuits. The camera is a little bouncy so I apologize if it makes you feel dizzy.

What you are going to watch is one station we do in our long endurance circuits. The entire circuit takes about 15 minutes for the faster guys so that is another reason we decided to try this sample one first. This relates to our talk we will have on how to train for power.  Perhaps the most important component of an athletes ability to have power is body control , This video shows some of the ways we go about accomplishing this.

Hope you enjoy it!

I wish we had the entire circuit on video. I am not sure if anyone would sit here and watch it for 15 minutes but it is very intense. It redefines what it means to be in good shape.

"My body has not reacted well with working a desk job.  I am only 25, but have been having a lot of pain that has built up over the past 6 months...The cubicle workouts have truly helped, I cant even begin to tell you...so much better! Thanks Scott, love the routines!" Brandon
